Fragments of my Syrian Grandmother's life, entwined with lyrics from Oum Kalthoum's "Ansak Ya Salam". This piece works, both literally and conceptually, around the idea of tension, with a string on which pieces of jewellery are suspended. 

Steel, digital arabic types, electric wire, silver bells, vegetal tanned and printed leather mixed to latex.
